How do you get massive of 1ups in Super mario brothers 1? (using the turtle and jumping)?
As question states…
My friend and his sister did this back in 92 when i was a kid.
I have seen it with my OWN eyes twice. And my friend said he has done it in all 6 times now.
But you get a turtle going down a hill (like right before you get the flag) and you just jump hit A (jump) over and over. This causes the turtle to bounce, and you stop it, then push it again, and back and forth. This causes you to get TONS of points and TONS of 1ups?
I cant even find such a video on youtube of this being done.
This is done in level 3-1 or 3-2, I can’t remember which…I think it’s 3-1. You must be big to do it. You must also hit the turtle at just the right time. If you fail, die immediately and you can try again, as long as you get the mushroom.
