Is there a way to play the original Contra on a SNES?

I miss Contra so bad, but i have a Snes not a Nes… i was wondering if they converted it to Snes like how they did with super mario brothers… or if theres any way at all to play it on snes… cuz i dont feel like buying a whole Nes just for contra… although it would definitely be worth it.. hmmm

Download it on an emulator, and maybe buy an NES controller you can plug into a USB port for the full experience. Or buy it on virtual console if it comes out or has already.

Playing with a keyboard is weird at first, but you get the hang of it eventually.
