7.5 Presentation
Solid and it fits the mood of The Bigs. Not much of an advancement over the first game, sadly. The new cutscenes to highlight Legendary Catches can be a bit jarring.
8.0 Graphics
Player details are solid and everything moves very well on the field. Grass looks very strange at points and I still the camera angle should be pulled back just a bit.
7.0 Sound
The announcer repeats himself quite a bit which is sad because a few of his one-liners are pretty funny. Effects are good; soundtrack is not.
8.5 Gameplay
This style game is meant to be played with friends. Become A Legend is cool enough, despite design issues, but the real fun is simply taking to the field and playing game after game.
7.5 Lasting Appeal
The flaws in Become A Legend hold back the time you’ll spend with the mode, but the gameplay has enough added layers to keep you coming back. Online play could be much deeper.

8.0 Presentation
IR menus, CG cut scenes for intros and challenge mode, Mii integration for the casual players, and multiple play styles. Not bad at all. Modes and options are nearly unchanged from Superstar though.
7.5 Graphics
Not bad for Wii, but still nearly identical to its GameCube counterpart. 16:9 has been added, and you’ll get occasional depth of field blur and the like, but it’s pretty cut/paste from 2005.
6.0 Sound
The orchestrated feel is nice, but there’s also a few annoying songs in the mix. “Let’s play baseball?” That intro has got to go. Umpire is still annoying as well.
7.0 Gameplay
Fun, but virtually unchanged. This one is docked for a lack of innovation (waggle only? Really?) and an identical design from GCN. The changes made — co-op home run robbing and IR items — are nice.
7.0 Lasting Appeal
It really depends on the player. Challenge mode is short, there’s no online, and it’s a carbon copy of Superstar Baseball. Still, it has simple charm, and multiplayer is fun.
