Any ideas for a Toadette costume?
Me my brother and my cousin are trying to dress up as Mario charters. I was going to try to do a Toadette costume but I’m not sure what to use to get the roundness of the head. Any ideas would be great! Be create of!
It’s difficult to get something that will look good and not break your neck. I haven’t done this, so I’m just throwing out ideas. I don’t know if they’ll actually work. ^^;
I’d suggest making a hat of styrofoam– you can get it from a place like JoAnn Fabric or other craft stores– cutting it to the shape you want, and covering it with a smooth material to paint with polkadots, to avoid the porousness of the styrofoam.
You could also try papier mache over a chicken wire form. It might be more difficult to make it as smooth as you’d like, but with effort, it should work well.
Hopefully one of these will help, even if just in thinking of a better idea. ^^;
